It all started at the Bowery Electric in the Lower East Side, when Dixie winked at Eric from across the bar during a mutual friend’s party. After she went in for the kiss and gave him her number, their destinies were set. Two years later, Dixie and Eric were engaged, sharing a home in the Upper East Side, where they enjoyed runs in Central Park, and frequent traveling. In her own words, Dixie said: “We’re not above a casual bottle of rose on a weeknight.” They wed less than three miles away from their original meeting place, just a hop across the East River at the Weylin in Williamsburg.

Their guests convened on the restaurant’s spacious patio, amid urban, rugged decor paired with lush greenery and flower-filled bud vases. After the couple exchanged vows, they were joyfully showered in a flurry of bubbles.
