Rockefeller State Park Elopement - Hudson, Valley - Eliot & Nick
If a dream-like spring escape in nature is your idea of the perfect wedding, prepare to be inspired by the upstate elopement of Eliot and Nick. When they first reached out to me about their shared vision of an outdoor wedding ceremony in an vast open field, I immediately thought it was suited for the iconic ROCKELFELLER STATE PARK PRESERVE, a location Iโve been lucky to photograph couples in love several times over the years. Just under an hour from New York City, in the eastern foothills of the Hudson River in Westchester County, this sprawling state park offers expansive wooded hiking trails, beautiful beaches and scenic picnic areas. After scouting the location together, the couple found their favorite spot for their intimate ceremony under a giant mother tree. There they could finally picture their future wedding together and begin to plan what I consider to be one of the most meaningful and intentional occasions I have ever photographed.
Weylin Wedding - Brooklyn, NY - Dixie & Eric
It all started at the Bowery Electric in the Lower East Side, when Dixie winked at Eric from across the bar during a mutual friendโs party. After she went in for the kiss and gave him her number, their destinies were set. Two years later, Dixie and Eric were engaged, sharing a home in the Upper East Side, where they enjoyed runs in Central Park, and frequent traveling. In her own words, Dixie said: โWeโre not above a casual bottle of rose on a weeknight.โ They wed less than three miles away from their original meeting place, just a hop across the East River at the Weylin in Williamsburg.
Manhattan City Hall Elopement - Haley & Teddy
Haley and Teddy wed on a beautiful day in October. Favoring romance over tradition, the couple had an intimate ceremony just outside city hall, before taking a glamorous and celebratory ride on the subway to their reception. After exchanging vows in the architecturally stunning Guastavino Tiles Ceiling outside of Chambers St Station, the pair were showered in flower petals and confetti as colorful and vibrant as the love they share.

Alex & Maddy wed at MyMoon, a converted boiler room from Williamsburgโs industrial heyday turned chic Spanish style tapas bistro. Their guests convened on the restaurantโs spacious patio, amid urban, rugged decor paired with lush greenery and flower-filled bud vases. After the couple exchanged vows, they were joyfully showered in a flurry of bubbles.
Tuffet Wedding - Brooklyn, NY - Rachel & Katy
Rachel and Katy celebrated their love with a restaurant wedding at the chic wine and cheese bar and event space, Tuffet, in Williamsburg. In an unexpected moment of kismet, the wall across from the restaurant sported a mural commemorating Stonewall- a beautiful nod to the couples meeting place, which neither knew existed until their wedding day. In a small courtyard in the back of the restaurant, the pair exchanged vows during an intimate ceremony. In lieu of a traditional ring bearer, their audience of family and friends each held the box of wedding rings as it was passed around during the ceremony- allowing everyone to personally bless this symbol of their union before the official โI doโs.โ
Bacchus Bistro Wedding - Brooklyn, NY - Lydia & Colin
Lydia and Colin celebrated their love with a brunch wedding in Cobble Hill on an August afternoon. The theme was garden party chic, with the venue bringing the โgardenโ element while the couple and their guests brought โchicโ and โpartyโ energy. The weather was mild and overcast, offering soft lighting throughout the day. The softness of the light mirrored the soft affection shared by the couple themselves.

Sheโs American (a Brooklyn native with Haitian parents) and heโs French. Outside a fun-filled party in 2019, the two shared a cigarette and found an instant spark.
87th Street Community Garden Wedding - Manhattan - Abbey & Keith
Starting with their first look outside of the Museum of Natural History, the couple made several stops on their pre-ceremony jaunt around the Upper West Side, including Shakespeare Garden in Central Park.
Soon, the pair arrived at 87th Street Community Garden, where they were welcomed by their friends and family with a champagne toast before kicking off the ceremony. The couple wed in front of a wall covered with layered, sprawling ivy, which served as an apt and artful background for a couple whose love was in full bloom.
The intimate ceremony was followed by a cozy reception at Bustan, a Middle Eastern eatery on Amsterdam Avenue. The venueโs patio offered peeks of Manhattanโs fire escapes, a tableau of industrial metals and textures which contrasted against the greenery and warmly glowing string lights of the space.
Neptune Room at Radio Star - Brooklyn, NY - Morgan & Tim

This is an abridged version of Tim and Morganโs love story, which they celebrated with an intimate restaurant wedding at the Neptune Room at Radio Star in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
Boat Charter Ceremony & Neptune Room Reception - NYC - Kenzie & Zach
Zach and Kenzie left their homebase of Colorado to celebrate their wedding in the Big Apple. Framing the celebration as not only a party to officialize their union, they wanted their friends and families to experience what was quickly becoming their new favorite city.
They started at the William Vale in Williamburg, took the J train to the Lower East Side for a beer before meeting their wedding guests on a charter boat on the East River. They finally made their way over to Radio Star for dinner in their private dining room: the Neptune Room.
Intimate Wedding in Victorian Mansion - Hudson Valley, NY - Sharon & Tristan
This nontraditional wedding reception at a Victorian mansion rented on VRBO in the Hudson Valley felt vintage-inspired and opulent. While in historic period attire and renaissance fair costumes, the party guests leaned into their most regal personas while capturing editorial-style portraits exploring the museum-like rental homeโs unique artifacts & antique decor found throughout the formal dining room, parlors, gardens and even cemetery.

TOURISTS Wedding - Berkshires, MA - Em & Zack
Warm, loving, and nostalgic. After meeting in 7th grade, growing up a mile from each other, and dating since high school- Em and Zack chose to celebrate their love with close friends and family in the Berkshires. The two have attended several weddings over the past couple years, but none of the venues quite embodied the non-traditional, organic, and goofy energy that the couple wanted for their wedding- until they heard through the grapevine that the food at TOURISTS in North Adams, MA was divine, and they went for a tour!
