Boston Engagement - Adriana & Andy
Adriana and Andy were a part of the same friend circle for some time, but weren't on each other's radar until they finally met one fateful day (at a water balloon fight, might I add) where they knew they had found something special. I could tell right away they were a perfect match for each other- they are both nerdy in the coolest way possible. I'm so excited to share this intimate photo session I had with them!
Boston is a special place for them- Adriana went to college here and she takes trips with Andy often to meet up with old friends, always making it a necessity to hit up Newbury Comics and Tasty Burger every time they're in town. For our shoot, we started at a park in Brookline right around the corner Adriana's old apartment. I had never been there, so it was a pleasant surprise for me to find another beautiful location to add to my list of scenic portrait destinations in and around the city. There is a walking path that encircles a small pond, with lots of willow trees (and a dog park we absolutely had to stop at). Then we headed downtown, took a quick walk through the Public Gardens and Marlborough Street in the Back Bay over to Beacon Hill, where we stopped at Tatte's- their favorite bakery. We walked around and explored for awhile, finding lots of different nooks and crannies to grab some killer shots. I could have spent the whole weekend with them!
Without thinking too much about it, they were very natural and comfortable in front of the camera. They simply could not take their eyes off each other, which made for some super romantic and seductive photos. And at the same time, they were able to turn on some serious badass-ness as well as straight up silliness depending on the moment. They were so much fun to work with, and I hope we get to hang out again soon!
