-
* What's NOT Included
- Lunches (breakfasts & dinners will be ample meals, but for lunch we’ll do a combo of eating out and grabbing sandwiches to go)
- Ferry tickets (passenger & vehicle)
- Parking at ferry dock (usually $10/day)
- Taxis once you’re on the island (we’ll have one car, but plan on biking from place to place, so bring your bike or rent one if you prefer)
- Optional add-ons (spa services, kayak/paddle board rental, bike rental, etc)
Where we’re staying:
-
〰️ The Avonlea (aka the “Jewel of the Sea”) is a top boutique inn on Block Island. A private 20-occupancy Victorian house just steps from the beach- it’s the perfect space for a group retreat, providing plenty of opportunities to relax & unwind.
-
〰️ We have the entire place to ourselves, including a large sunlit living room, dining room, fireplace to cozy up in the evenings, commercial kitchen, wrap-around porch, outdoor shower, and lawn for yoga & meditation overlooking the ocean.
-
〰️ Each of the 10 premium rooms has a private bathroom, and either an ocean view or private entrance for convenient beachfront access. (Book the room of your choice HERE.)
-
〰️ We’ll literally be steps from the beach! This strip has soft sand and calm waters. It’s mainly used by hotel guests and doesn’t ever get very busy. Beach towels & beach chairs are provided.
-
〰️ The Avonlea is at the end of the “main strip” in town, so it’s quiet but convenient: 1 min walk to restaurants and shops. 5 min walk to ferry & cab stand.
-
〰️ Organic breakfasts will be catered by a local cafe Persephone’s, including grain bowls, smoothies, and baked goods.
〰️ Home-cooked dinners will be prepared by an in-house private chef. (Custom menu will be prepared to accommodate allergies & dietary restrictions.)
-
〰️ Dogs ARE allowed at the Avonlea! There are 3 dog-friendly rooms available, specified HERE. (Note: $100 pet cleaning fee will be added to your ticket price.)

YOUR HOST 〰️
HEY, FRIENDS!
My name is Bailey (she/they), and I am currently rooted in Brooklyn, NY on unceded Munsee Lenape land, with my loving partner & pup.
I am: a creative entrepreneur, professional photographer, artist (check out my PERSONAL WORK & ART PRINTS - all the landscape shots on this page are available for sale!), certified yoga teacher, guided by the mind/body/spirit connection, community organizer & activist, recovering perfectionist, queer feminist empath committed to making the world better than how I found it.
I’ve been coming to Block Island since I was a kid, and know the place like the back of my hand- we stay at the Blue Dory (the BnB next door that manages the Avonlea) every year. When I pitched hosting a retreat to their team, they were all in, and the Woo-Woo Crew was born! The stars aligned, allowing us to have a mini-retreat trial run in July 2024, and we’re now ready to host our first large-scale yoga & creative retreat at the Avonlea in June 2025!

The Boudoir Experience
We are so excited to be collaborating yet again with the fabulously talented Katie from THE RENAISSANCE ROOM, an empowering & inclusive boudoir studio in Providence, RI. Katie will come for the day to do a mini self-love photo shoot for each participant on a remote, secluded beach!
Katie is an expert at making people feel seen, comfortable, and sexy AF in their own skin, exactly how they are. Come with a light heart, an open mind, and positive affirmations. We’ll be sending verbal support your way too, if you want it!
You can be as dis-robed as you prefer (it’s an unofficial nude beach only really known to the locals, so it’ll be totally socially acceptable!) You’ll get 5 edited photos of yourself to keep.
The images we make together are for YOU to reclaim your body.
The photoshoot is optional, but once one person does it, people tend to be inspired to try it. You’d be surprised how transformative it can feel until you try it yourself!
